Ngā Ara Whetū, the Centre for Climate, Biodiversity and Society congratulates Marco de Krester for winning the grand prize in our inaugural Reimagining Our World competition. The contest challenged entrants to redefine success and beauty in new ways, recognising that our definitions shape behaviours and ultimately our futures. Ngā Ara Whetū and The Big Q invited participants to reimagine what is possible – to explore new definitions and to present a new vision for our world

Best in category for ‘Redefining Success’ went to Siena Thompson and Elouise Kidd, and ‘Redefining Beauty’ to Samantha Persson. Mishika Chawla won the Under 12 category, and Runner up/special honours for ‘Beauty’ was awarded to Dave Whittaker, and Summer Horgan. Runner up and special honours for ‘Success’ went to Channy Meng, Jay Ang, and to Jingjing Ge.
