Ngā Ara Whetū was pleased to co-host the Zero Waste Aotearoa National Hui alongside Zero Waste Network Aotearoa and CIRCUIT – Circular Innovations Research Centre.
We welcomed over 50 delegates to our Resource Recovery Lab at the University of Auckland, where waste minimisation leaders, industry practitioners, and community advocates engaged directly with our postgraduate researchers. Our students demonstrated their innovative projects in waste minimisation and resource recovery with considerable expertise.
Thank you to the delegates for questions and to our postgraduate students for their presentations. This event exemplified the importance of collaboration between academic institutions, community organisations, and industry in advancing New Zealand’s transition towards sustainable waste management.
